SONS OF NOTHING
There are tribute bands, and there are Tribute Bands; Salt Lake
City‘s Sons of Nothing deserve the capital billing. While conjuring
Pink Floyd isn‘t their only creative outlet, the band‘s
growing-in-legend FloydShows are things of aural and visual wonder. Never
mind that the songs, spanning the ‘60s to the ‘80s, are
recreated with stunning accuracy‘the light show and special effects
are appropriately mind-blowing, as well. Catch the full-on spectacular
before they retreat back into the studio to record their own
stuff—and don‘t request any of that Momentary Lapse of Reason
crap. Friday, Nov. 8 @ Harry O‘s, 427 Main, Park City,
435-647-9494, 9 p.m.
