Long time, no anything. Er...again. Yes, I know, but deep in the Fundamental Heart of Mind and Universe, there is a reason.
What, you say the Fundamental Heart of Mind and Universe can get bent?
Me too.
Anyway, we're due for some major revamping very soon, both here and on the MySpace site, but for now I just wanted to post a quick note letting the world know that SoN is still alive, and the good news (for me) that I've finally broken through the gorram writer's block that has been plaguing me these past few months, which is a huge relief (again, for me -- Random Guy On The Street's mileage may vary.) And even better, the stuff that's coming out is kinda sorta almost...good enough to be called a first draft. Go me!
Matt and I met earlier this week to take inventory and start looking at the logistics of creating the next album, and I'm happy to report that so far we're off to a highly productive start. And, as per my programming, I'm a bit unsettled by that. I'm not used to a smooth ride where this sort of thing is concerned. Nevertheless, there's nothing like having the creative juices in flood and yielding acceptably decent results to get the volume of everything else in one's life turned down.
